In my opinion Ligasano^® is one of the most significant new products in Equine Stud Medicine in recent times.

The original prognosis was that this wound would take five to six months to heal (if it would at all) and then there was no guarantee that he would sound again. I started using Ligasano^® 2cm from the second day of his injury. I changed the dressing every day until day 42. From then I have changed the dressing every second day as the wound has healed at a meteoric rate. His shoes will be put back on next week and I have been given the all clear from the vet to start riding him and taking him for gentle walks. We are currently sitting on day 52. So his recovery has

I have been using Ligasano^® sponges for the past few months with a great deal of success. I have used it in both dogs and cats with non healing skin wounds or wounds with insufficient skin. I have experienced that these wounds heal 3 to 4 times faster and infection is cleared up a lot sooner. Dirty shearing wounds, dog bite wounds, hyalomma tick bite wounds that go necrotic, puff adder bite wounds where the skin sloughs and becomes necrotic are all examples where I have used these sponges and I had perfect healing in patients every time, I recommend the use of these sponges and I will continue to use them myself, I am astounded at the results.
